ULTMMA50 fight video - #44 Jimi Manuwa vs. Shaun Lomas

Taking an in depth film study into the ULTMMA50, number 46 Jimi Manuwa (8-0) goes under the microscope. From a December 2009 Ultimate Challenge UK event Manuwa takes on unheralded Shaun Lomas (7-10).

If you're looking for the next charismatic fighter to come out of the UK, Jimi Manuwa may be your answer. Known mostly for his edge of your seat brawling style, Manuwa works on his grappling ability during this fight with UK scene vet Lomas.

A 29 year old out of London, Manuwa has fought exclusively for Ultimate Challenge UK since December 2008. Seven of Manuwa's eight career wins have come via KO or TKO.Training with Team Nova Forca Manuwa is only a blue belt in BJJ and will need to work on the ground element of his game once he is called up to the big show.

Manuwa at this point of his career is very close to inking a deal with a national MMA organization. Reports even surfaced prior to UFC 105 in the UK that Manuwa respectively turned down a contract offer from Zuffa in order to gain more experience. Perhaps without a signature win on his resume Manuwa could lock-up his roster spot in the UFC with a win over a UFC vet or another soild European prospect in his next bout.
