After a five year absence four star prospect Tyrone Glover returns with a “W” at Colorado’s F2W

Colorado's Fight to Win promotions booked a 12 fight pro MMA card over the weekend in Denver entitled The Professionals. At the top of stacked card was the return of lightweight prospect Tyrone Glover (5-0) after a five year absence from active competition. After winning Japan's Pride FC United States fighter auditions, along with notables Nick Ring and KJ Noons, Glover left the sport to pursue his law degree.

Glover's first fight since a September 2005 win over UFC vet Din Thomas was against local Colorado fighter Nick Buschman (4-8). In beautiful display of grappling Glover shook off the rust in the opening moments of round one versus Buschman. Glover wrestled Buschman to the floor with a strong takedown that the 24 year old Colorado fighter could not buck off.

From the mounted position Glover pounded on Buschman until he gave up his back. With back control in place Glover slipped on an armbar submission at the 4:20 point of round one. At the still the ripe age of 31 years, Glover return to the cage and subsequent easy victory puts him back in the discussion of 155 pound prospects to watch out for. Glover now trains out of the famed Grudge Training Center in Wheatridge, CO, a gym where the likes of Shane Carwin and Nate Marquardt call home.

Glover is a four star lightweight MMA prospect with potential to make a lot of noise in his weight division in 2011.

Also in action on the undercard was four star lightweight prospect Drew Dober (9-2). The 22 year old Nebraska bred fighter put on an offensive striking onslaught on Steve Simmons (2-4). Ranked number 13 in the ULTMMA.com 155 pound prospect rankings, Dober finished off and forced a verbal submission from Simmons 1:37 seconds into round three.

The win was Dober's third straight.
