WEC 53 medical suspensions - Ken Stone & Will Kerr get 60 days
Glendale, AZ-An undercard full of knockouts and submissions resulted in a handful of state issued medical suspensions for a number of combatants at WEC 53. Notable 60 day suspensions include bantamweight Ken Stone (9-2) who suffered a vicious knockout loss to Eddie Wineland (18-6) via slam.
ULTMMA.com (www.ultmma.com) recently requested and received the state issued medical suspensions for WEC 53 from the Arizona Boxing and MMA Commission.
WEC 53 took place at the Jobing.com Arena in Glendale, AZ and aired live on the VS. Cable network. In the main event Anthony Pettis (13-1) battled Arizona's Ben Henderson (12-2) to a five round unanimous decision victory. Various reports of the attendance for WEC 53 have the show at around 6,300 MMA fans.
