Former UFC middleweight prospect Jake Rosholt (8-3) will return to the cage on March 19th in Oklahoma. ( has learned from sources close to the situation that Rosholt will take on Kansas native John Bryant (4-3) and has verbally accepted a spot on the undercard of Bellator 37.

Bellator 37 is scheduled for March 19 at the Lucky Star Casino in Concho, Oklahoma.

The kickoff of Bellator's 2011 featherweight tournament will occupy the main card of Bellator 37. Broadcast on MTV2 the four quarterfinal featherweight tournament bouts include: Patricio "Pitbull Freire vs. Georgi Karakhanyan, Zac George vs. Wilson Reis, Kenny Foster vs. Eric Larkin, and Nazareno Malegarie vs. Daniel Straus.

A four-time All-American and three time NCAA champion at Oklahoma State University, Rosholt began his transition into MMA in spring of 2007. After he posted a 4-0 record on the Midwest regional MMA scene Rosholt was by the UFC's sister promotion the WEC in 2008. Rosholt went 1-0 in the WEC before the company dissolved its middleweight division and the 29 year old became one of the handful of fighters who got a crack inside the UFC.

Over the span of nine months Rosholt went 1-2 inside the UFC with a win over Chris Leben sandwiched between defeats to Dan Miller and Kendall Grove. Rosholt was relased by the UFC in November of 2009 and has gone 2-1 outside the Octagon. A member of the famed Team Takedown fight management company, Rosholt recently headlined a local C3 Fights card in Oklahoma where submitted Josh Smidt in the first round.

Nicknamed "Section 8" Bryant has not shied away from top competition throughout his four year pro career. Two losses to Bellator and WEC veteran Eric Schambari as well as a first round stoppage at the hands of Danillo Villefort are the only blemishes of his career. Bryant lasted competed in January 2011 where he picked up submission win over Eric Lapotsky, on the undercard of the same C3 Fights event Rosholt headlined.
