Tachi Palace Fights 14 to feature two title fights and top featherweight prospect Brandon Bender in action

Top California MMA promotion the Tachi Palace Fights will return on September 7th for their third card of 2012 and 14th event overall. At the top of the marquee bantamweight prospect Casey Olson (14-3) will challenge three time UFC vet Ian Loveland (15-9) for the TPF 135 pound belt. The co-main event slot will go to a featherweight title tilt between champion Georgi Karakhanyan (18-3-1) and challenger Micah Miller (17-4).

On the undercard four star featherweight prospect Brandon Bender (10-0) will make his debut for Tachi Palace Fights. With nine submissions in ten pro fights Bender will square off with Oakdale's Rolando Velasco (6-2-1) in a fight scheduled for 135 pounds. At 25 years old Bender has run roughshod over most California competition at featherweight.

The 5'8 Bender has the ability to compete in both the 135 and 145 pound divisions. Bender may be only a single a win from getting a permanent roster spot with Bellator or the UFC in 2013. The Millennia MMA fighter is ranked at the number 12 spot in ULTMMA.com's featherweight prospect top 20 listing.

The versatile Bender also checks in at number 36 in the ULTMMA50; a pound for pound ranking of the top 50 MMA prospects of 2012.

Friday, September 7th it will be "Validation" for Tachi Palace Fights 14. Title appropriately named by the TPF Facebook fan page promotion winner. This card will feature two Championship bouts. Fresno's own Casey Olson and Portland OR's Ian Loveland battle it out for the Bantamweight Championship. Co-Main event also a championship bout will face off Georgi Karakhanyan of Riverside, CA against Micah Miller of Atlanta GA, for the Featherweight Championship.
