Ultmma.com: Is it tough being one of the youngest fighters at Arizona Combat Sports?
Jacob McClintock: "Everybody still thinks of me as being a little kid. I still get that rep of being a punk ass little kid, that tries to beat everyone up. I think everybody here has respect for me. I think I've established myself in the jiu-jitsu world and somewhat in MMA. There are upsides and downsides to everything."
Ultmma.com: Training with so many UFC and WEC vets, do you turn to them often for MMA career advice?
Jacob McClintock: "I try not to. I try just to concentrate on myself. If, you put too much emphasize of what everyone else is doing you lose focus on yourself. It's cool to have top caliber guys in here: Carlos Condit, Ryan Bader, all those dudes. You get to test yourself whenever you want. Every day, no matter what you will get pushed in here."
Ultmma.com: Your only 5-0 in your MMA career. Right now how do you think you would stack up with UFC competition?
Jacob McClintock: "Honestly, I think I could hold my own against a lot of those guys. At the stage I am at right now I would like to get a couple of more fights and get comfortable in there. I think skill wise; if they came to the gym I could hold my own against them.
