Taking an in-depth look at select fighter from the ULTMMA50 number 42 Bendy Casimir (19-5-2) goes up against Anton Kuivanen (11-4) in an October 2008 bout from Hell Cage 2 in the Czech Republic.

Featherweight Bendy Casimir comes in a number 42 in the ULTMMA50; a pound for pound listing of the top prospect in MMA.

Frenchman Bendy Casimir recently inked a deal to compete in the Zuffa owned WEC. Casimir will make his debut with the WEC stateside at WEC 47 vs. Ricardo Lamas. Chicago's Lamas (7-1) is 2-1 in the WEC and will provide a stiff test for Casimir's first go around.

Since 2007, Casimir has fought at a frantic pace going 15-1-1 in his last 17contests. The former Shooto European Champion is known for his submission wins. Casimir's grappling style could at times be labeled erratic and this may cause him to have trouble with dominat wrestlers in the WEC's lightweight division.

Casimir's natural fighting weight is at 150 pounds and may be best suited to compete at featherweight in the U.S due to the American practice of a weight cutting. The 29 year old Casimir is long overdue for a call-up to a national organization. Casimir is a genuine four star prospect because of his strength, unorthodox grappling skills and his wealth of in-ring experience.
