Oklahoma’s C3 Fights results- Carmelo Marrero subs Wayne Cole & prospect Tyler Stinson wins 3rd in a row
A solid eight fight MMA card took place at the First Council Casino in Newkirk, Oklahoma as C3 Fights promoted its fourth event in their Jam N Slam series.
Kansas welterweight prospect Tyler Stinson (16-5) took on Greg Jackson trained Jerome Martinez (8-6) in the evenings' main event. The 24 year old Stinson needed less than two minutes to work for an armbar submission and sunk it in for win over Martinez 1:47 seconds into round one.
Stinson has won seven of his last eight fights with the last three wins coming in less than six minutes of total in-ring time.
Also in action American Top Team's Carmelo Marrero downed Oklahoma's Wayne Cole midway through the second frame with a guillotine choke. The win was the fifth sub of Marrero's career and his first win since dropping back to back bouts to Antwain Britt and Ryan Bader.
