New York's Gian Villante needed less than a minute to put away veteran Mike Cook in the main of event of Ring of Combat 28. The heavyweight prospect continues to impress with his speed and striking skills that versus Cook set-up a fight ending submission.

Villante is now 6-0 and has put himself in a prime position to earn a call-up to a national organization by the end of 2010.

In flyweight action 25 year old prospect Louis Gaudinot defeated top 15 125 pound fighter Tuan Pham early in the first round. A New Jersey native Gaudinot showcased his ever improving hands against Pennsylvania's Pham.

Gaudinot (4-1) now has won three in a row since dropping a decision to four star prospect Nick Cottone in June 2009. Pham's record (2-2) now sits at .500, but he remains a solid prospect due to his (7-0) amateur record.
